It's the last day we are here at Rodi Kopany. We will leave in three hours to take a ten plus bus ride back to Nairobi, then fly home. See you in California.
Today is the last day at the Achungo School. It's sad time, and time to say goodbye. The children loved us and we also loved them and loved to see them and spend time with them. They made us feel so special. It's such a blessing that I had the opportunity to experience this first hand.

It's also a busy day that we were able to spend time at the school, we were there early enough to see the flag ceremony. We did the affirmation sharing time at lunch. Then we stay at the school until five after school ended. It took a while to say goodbye and took some pictures with the children. Afterward, we visited the open market there. It's eye opening to me. At the evening, we had dinner with the teachers from both schools. The teachers shared. We also shared our experience at the schools and our thankfulness to be able to visit.

Tomorrow we will leave. It will be a long journey home. First we will take a bus ride from Rodi Kopany to Nairobi, which takes 10+ hours. Then the fighting and transit time will be about 24 hours in total. By the time we get home , it might be about 40 hours later.

Thank God for this wonderful experience. Amen.

We visited the second Achungo School today. The school is newer and four years old. There are more space in the new school. Currently, this school has up to seventh grade only. The students in this school are also amazing. They are also friendly, warm and loving. I had a great time there talking to the fifth and sixth grades boys. They were so curious. One of them can name the current US president. Another one asked me where the California state capitol is. They asked me many questions that I could not answer.

It's the third day at Achungo school. The students were warm and welcoming. They remember my name. But it was difficult for me to remember their names. We interviewed the 8th grade students. We found out more about them. In addition, I had some fun and awesome time with the students in the first, fourth and fifth grades.

It's the second day at Achungo school.it's awesome. The children were very welcoming. The fourth graders that I first sang the Chinese version of the Happy Birthday song gave me thank you and love notes. It's so sweet of them. The first graders were active and "very excited" when I was in their class room. Because of that, I had to step out a few times. The eighth graders were very nice and welcoming too. They also gave me thank you and love notes.

It's the first day at Achungo School. We worked with the children and staff of Achungo School. The children are very welcoming, warm and friendly. I visited almost every grade. The children are very curious. They asked me to teach them some Chinese, sing a song in Chinese. I sang the Chinese version of the Happy Birthday song. Most importantly, they asked me about whether I know Jacky Chan and about Kung Fu, and about whether I fight.
